I got a Facebook message the other day from Riley’s godmother, aka one of my best friends since freshman year of high school, and she’s getting married. A few other very close friends of mine are coupling off (either through nuptials or by getting muy “serious” with someone special). And here I am, getting misty-eyed in the school lobby from writing my wedding vows.People, I can feel the Great Change happening. This is the time when significant others, kids, and careers take over; when rents and mortgages and daycare rates become common conversational topics; when we, as a group, become the ones planning traditions, vacations and goals for the next generation.
Dude. We’ve become the adults.
I think my mind is officially blown.
